First Dubai Cinépolis Cinema to open at Circle Mall, JVC

So, this this the news that the box (office) fresh Circle Mall development in Jumeirah Village Circle, will be getting a new boutique movie-viewing experience, from silver screen stars – Cinépolis Cinema.

On the credits in 19 countries worldwide, this will be just the second Cinépolis Cinema in the UAE (the original one, is still showing in Sharjah’s Oasis Mall), and Dubai’s first. The Circle Mall reboot will feature five screens, with space to seat a combined total of 300 movie-goers comfortably, with ‘premium’ and ‘luxury’ auditoriums offering huge seat pitches and reclining chairs. Though the latter can be a bit of a nap trap if you’re over 25.

Ticket prices will start at Dhs45, going up to Dhs75 for the bougie snoozy recliner seats mentioned above. You can also order from the comfort of your own chair – there’s a selection of traditional in-screen snacks such popcorn, nachos and slushies, as well as more substantial hot food options – burgers, pizzas, and – the What’s On audience is split on this one, but – edamame.
